Jaimi
Founder/Senior Stylist
With nearly 20 years in the industry, Jaimi’s love of extensions began in her late teens after her first set. Sparking a drive to learn every method and master every technique. The joy of delivering full transformations with colour and extensions working in harmony has what inspired to run her own business for the past 10 years. Recently rebranded to BLEND Salon the service arm of BLEND Hair Extensions.
In 2025 she finally launched BLEND Hair Extensions, a wholesale brand built on quality, transparency, and education. Precision-obsessed and technique-led, Jaimi now mentors hairdressers to become confident extension technicians, pairing real-world salon knowledge with elevated standards.
When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her with her family. Kept happily busy by her two gorgeous girls.
Desiree
Senior Stylist
Desiree has been in the industry for 9 years, originally from Adelaide and coming over to Melbourne midway through 2021. She trained and worked at a leading salon in Adelaide coming to us with a wealth of skill and knowledge in all aspects of hairdressing. Specialising in tape extensions, she really enjoys giving her clients a makeover from start to finish.
A highlight in Desiree’s career was working at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2017 with designer Alice McCall. She loved seeing the style she created come to life with makeup and styling walking down the runway.
When Desiree is not in the salon she loves going to eat at the latest cafes and restaurants, discovering what Melbourne has to offer.
Shanade
Administration Coordinator
Shanade works behind the scenes at BLEND Salon and has been professionally organising and coordinating for 15 years, majority of her corporate career was spent in logistics. Her love of organising, crunching numbers and reporting makes everything run seamlessly.
Fun fact, Jaimi and Shanade are sisters! Outside of Jaimi & Co Shanade also helps run their mums salon, Salon Fresh in Yarraville. And if that isn’t enough she also has 3 little boys that she runs around after (most likely where her organisation comes from).
Shanade is super friendly and will always go above and beyond to cater to each and every client’s needs when booking appointments. And she is our token baby holder for all the Mumma’s who need to get their hair done with baby in tow.
